ABOUT
STEPHEN S. MEHLER, M.A.
SStephen Mehler was born and raised in New York City. His early
education focused on the sciences and he received a B.A. in Physiology
and Anatomy from Hunter College of the City University of New York.
He also holds two Masters degrees, the first in Natural Sciences,
specializing in Human Ecology, and the second in the Social Sciences,
specializing in Ancient History and Prehistory with an emphasis
in ancient Egypt, both from San Jose State University in California.
In
1977 Stephen became associated with the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC
in San Jose, California, and worked as a Staff Research Scientist
from 1978-1980. In 1979 Stephen worked with what has become known
as the Mayan Crystal Skull. Stephen then researched the Amethyst
Crystal Skull in 1983. Since then, he has researched and worked
with the Mitchell Hedges Skull (1988) and Max, the Texas Crystal
Skull, on many occasions. In 2001, Stephen had the opportunity to
work with ShaNaRa, the skull owned by Nick Nocerino. Stephen is
featured in the book, The Mysteries of The Crystal Skulls Revealed,
co-authored by Sandra Bowen, F.R. “Nick” Nocerino and
Joshua Shapiro.
Stephen
currently is Director of Research of both The Great Pyramid of Giza
Research Association (www.gizapyramid.com)
and his own The Land of Osiris Research Project. He has
focused on the field of Egyptology for over thirty-five years and
is a trained field archaeologist. Stephen has worked with Indigenous
Wisdom Keeper, Abd’El Hakim Awyan, a master of the indigenous
traditions of ancient Khemit (Egypt) since 1992. Stephen is the
author of The Land of Osiris (Adventures Unlimited Press, 2001)
which documents his work with and introduces the indigenous oral
tradition as presented by Hakim, and Stephen’s over thirty
years of research in the field. Stephen is currently working on
a second book, From Light Into Darkness: The Evolution of Religion
In Ancient Egypt that will further illuminate the wisdom teachings
of Abd’El Hakim.
